The Worldring Saga, Primer1.1THE DUR-AKHK REPUBLIC: A Treatise on the Governance and Isolation of the Holiest Kingdom in All the World   
GOVERNMENT: Dur-akhk is not truly a republic; it is more accurately termed a constitutional monarchy.  A king (currently His Royal Majesty King Albeorn the Mighty Bear, a VERY distant cousin of the Empress of Ab-sen) sits as ruling monarch, but in truth, King Albeorn is little more than a figurehead.  Not entirely without political pull, Albeorn hoardes his clout for when he needs it the most.

"Now that I've captured everyone's attention, allow me to introduce myself.  I teach three other, unrelated, classes, so I'm certain many of you know me, already.  But for those who do not, I am Professor Capacitor Lightwave, Elite of the Outerring and champion of Myyrsiin.  Yes, Myyrsiin IS a rather distant Prefecture, out near the Halo Ice, so I'm not surprised some of you have no earthly clue who I am.

The Star of Life primer 0.2Here are yet more terms for readers following the glacier-slow evolution of my writing and fictional settings, in this case, the Star of Life.   
THE CONGRESS OF HOLY BEINGS: The official name for the lector-brotherhood.  The lector-princes meet every day in the Lector-Shrine.  The Congress is headed by the Heirarch, but long ago, the lector-shamans issued an edict that only a vote by the lector-shamans can appoint a Divine Monitor to oversee debates and theological discussions.  The current Divine Monitor is a female Shedim named aui-Badabb ha-Manshur.   
ELOHIM: Elohim are the descendents of The Star of Life primer 0.2

Star of Life primer 0.1Yet more terminology used in the Star of Life:   
CRAFTING: The making of items known as Tools of God.   
THE DEEPBELOW: The nothingness behind the Star of Life.  It is void and empty and nil.  The dead go here to sleep and slowly cease to be.  Life is meant to be lived; death is the end of everything.  Using Runeworkings, magi can summon ghosts before the Deepbelow dissolves them completely.   
GODSPEAKING: Healing magic.  Only Elohim may speak the words God spoke as he forged the Star, and survive.  Using these ancient syllables, Elohim magi can heal a Star of Life primer 0.1

Zhjijhn, the Star of Life and Cgnis

One is a gaming setting, the other two are purely narrative events. I'm working on three settings at the same time, three very different worlds of fantasy and sorcery that are really nothing alike.

Cgnis is a world with an entirely benevolent pantheon of gods, where all evil comes from mortal beings. The Star of Life has a monotheistic deity that is neither good nor evil, but roams about like a titan from Greek myth. And Zhjijhn? Zhjijhn has a set of divine pantheons that're barely a step above monstrosity, and they meddle incessently.

So, if you care at all, stay tuned and more will be coming down the road as the mood strikes me.
